Arrive in Mumbai

Arrive in Mumbai by international flight, where you will be met and assisted at the airport before transferring to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to relax after your journey or begin discovering the vibrant character of India’s financial capital.

Mumbai & Its Historic Heritage

After breakfast, explore Mumbai and discover its fascinating mix of history, architecture and everyday life. After breakfast, take your flight from Mumbai to Nagpur before continuing by road to Pench National Park, approximately 80 km away. Settle into your wildlife surroundings and enjoy the transition from the bustling city to the forests of Central India.

Day 4

Pench National Park & Tiger Safaris

Experience the wilderness of Pench with morning and afternoon game drives accompanied by a trained naturalist. Explore the park’s forests and grasslands in search of tigers, leopards, deer, wild dogs and a rich variety of birdlife.

Between safaris, enjoy time at your lodge and take in the peaceful surroundings of the Central Indian wilderness.

Day 5

Pench to Kanha & Into the Wilderness

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive before travelling approximately 225 km to Kanha National Park, taking around 5½ to 6 hours. Continue deeper into Central India’s wilderness and settle into your accommodation surrounded by the natural beauty of Kanha.

Day 6

Kanha National Park & Wildlife Encounters

Spend the day exploring Kanha National Park on morning and afternoon game drives with a trained naturalist. Discover its forests, meadows and diverse habitats, with opportunities to spot Royal Bengal tigers, barasingha, leopards and other wildlife.

Day 7

Kanha to Bandhavgarh & Tiger Country

After breakfast, travel approximately 240 km to Bandhavgarh National Park, taking around 6 hours. Continue through the landscapes of Central India towards one of the country’s renowned tiger reserves. On arrival, check in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 8

Bandhavgarh National Park & Tiger Safaris

Begin the day with a morning game drive through Bandhavgarh National Park, accompanied by a trained naturalist. Return for breakfast and time at leisure before heading out again for an afternoon game drive.

Enjoy the opportunity to experience the park’s rich wildlife and dramatic landscapes, with the Royal Bengal tiger among its most famous inhabitants.

Day 9

Bandhavgarh to Khajuraho & Ancient Temple Heritage

After breakfast, travel approximately 250 km to Khajuraho, taking around 6 hours. Leave the forests of Central India behind and journey towards one of India’s most remarkable temple destinations. On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 10

Khajuraho Temples & Panna National Park

After breakfast, explore the Eastern and Western Groups of Khajuraho’s magnificent temples. Admire their intricate carvings, remarkable architecture and artistic heritage, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Later, head to Panna National Park for a jungle safari and discover another side of Central India’s diverse landscapes and wildlife before returning to Khajuraho.

Day 11

Khajuraho to Agra by Rail

After breakfast, travel by rail from Khajuraho towards Agra. Relax and enjoy the changing scenery as you journey towards one of India’s most iconic heritage cities. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 12

Agra & The Timeless Taj Mahal

Early this morning, visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise, subject to weather conditions. Experience the beauty of one of the world’s most celebrated monuments before continuing to the historic Agra Fort.

Later, travel approximately 205 km to Delhi, taking around 4 to 4½ hours. On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 13

Delhi & Its Historic Heritage

After breakfast, explore the contrasting character of Old and New Delhi. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the lively streets of Chandni Chowk before visiting Jama Masjid and Raj Ghat.

Continue to Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, Humayun’s Tomb and India Gate, while also seeing the President’s residence, Parliament and Secretariat buildings. Return to your hotel after a final day discovering the historic heart of India’s capital.
