Yes. The itinerary includes the scenic Himalayan Toy Train journey from Kalka to Shimla, travelling through the Shivalik mountain ranges on one of India’s most memorable railway journeys.

What can I experience in Shimla?

Shimla sightseeing includes the Mall, Observatory Hill, Kennedy House, Scandal Point, Christ Church and Jakku Hill, with additional leisure time to explore the hill station independently.

Is there free time in Shimla?

Yes. Day 5 is kept free for leisure, allowing you to relax, explore Shimla at your own pace or enjoy the surrounding Himalayan scenery.

What is special about Pragpur?

Pragpur is a heritage village in the Kangra Valley, known for its traditional architecture, cobbled streets and distinctive heritage character. The afternoon is free to explore the village independently.

Does the holiday include Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj?

Yes. The itinerary includes Dharamshala and McLeod Ganj, with time to experience the Dhauladhar mountain scenery, Tibetan heritage, local markets, temples and the surrounding Himalayan landscape.

What sightseeing is included in Dharamshala?

Dharamshala sightseeing includes McLeod Ganj, the area around the Dalai Lama’s residence, the Tibetan colony, local markets and temples, as well as Bhagsunath Waterfall.

Is the Golden Temple included in the Amritsar sightseeing?

Yes. The Amritsar sightseeing programme includes the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and Durgiana Temple, followed by the spectacular Wagah Border Beating Retreat ceremony.
